IT'S JUST AROUND THE CORNER!! Vacaville residents seem to get in the mood for pageants and festivals once spring rolls around. For the past 101 years, they have turned out for many different spring and summer celebrations. Fiesta Days is a non-profit organization! Organized and run by volunteers of all ages and funded by donors and sponsors (this is not a city event).
Fiesta Days is a celebration with all kinds of events and food and, YES! Even a PARADE!! New Hope is continuing to support Fiesta Days as a vital part of the Vacaville community. Come help us with our float and be a part of this family-based tradition! We’re a body of believers that pray together as well as play together! If you just want to have some fun and be blessed in the process, then come join us! To volunteer with the rest of us or if you just want more information, please contact Jeff Ryan in the foyer after church services or call him in the church office at 707.446.4051 or email him at Jeff@newhopevv.com. With all the ways to contact Jeff…you can’t miss him!! We want all participants to be wearing our New Hope t-shirt...if you cannot order one, please see Jeff if you would like to be a part of our parade!! Then join us on May 20th for our fantastic, informative, fun-filled Ministry Fair! There really IS something for everyone at New Hope. Tired of just doing the same thing, but not sure what you could do? C'mon on in and check out the numerous booths at the fair because you would be hard-pressed to not find something that interests you. Are you outgoing or kind of shy? Do you like to be on the cutting edge of things or are you more conventional? There's something for all. Bring a friend and sign up together! What fun that would be! Want to learn something new? Something totally different? Think outside the box...oh, go crazy and live a little! Here's your chance to make a difference for Jesus! Here's an opportunity for you to bear fruit! Eight weeks ago, the men at New Hope embarked on an intense study that took them deeper into the biblical truths for a godly family, exploring topics such as redeeming your history, walking with integrity, winning, blessing the hearts of your children, and more. Integrated into the study were daily devotions from 'The Resolution for Men', a book written by the screenwriters of the highly acclaimed movie 'Courageous'. These devotions worked strategically with the 'Honor Begins at Home' bible study, inspiring men to reconcile with their past, re-engage in the present by taking full responsibility for their wives and children, and then moving forward with a bold and clear resolution for the future. The men gained focus for insight and tools for strengthening their position as priest of the home. The entire program concludes this Father's Day, Sunday, June 17, 2012 with a special service and celebration involving the 'Resolution for Men' oath followed by a wonderful Tri-Tip family BBQ!
